dreaming in french

Today I'm writing to you from a sweet little French café. Wishing and dreaming — finding motivation from an atmosphere I've often dream about.

While I'm realistically in my very American City, a girl can dream that she's sitting in a true Parisian cafe with the Eiffel Tower right out her window.  Maybe it's the teensy bit of German/Irish in my blood, but I've always been drawn to the European influence (i.e., Mini cooper, vespa obsession, tea/milk, and the list goes on). With french music filling the air, I'm  inspired while filling a notebook with thoughts and dreams for the future.

Lately, Caleb and I have been discussing the things we desire in life. It is so much fun dreaming together — feeling like the world is at our fingertips and knowing God has such an unbelievable plan for our lives. We're learning to be open to the unknown while letting go of certain comforts. Waiting and listening with willing hearts.

While I sit here, I find beauty in the dream. Hoping that one day I might find myself sitting in Paris -if only for a visit- reflecting on this very moment... when life was but a dream

  1. I can't tell you how many times I think of myself somewhere I want to be and hope one day I can be there and look back on when I dreamed of that day. Cute post!
