homemade fudgesicles


Yesterday was the the perfect lazy day. Allow me to start from the beginning. On Tuesday evening, my dear friend, Danielle, came over for some much needed girl time. Our usual chat date had been way overdue. Realizing it was going on eleven o'clock and still having much ground to cover, we decided she should stay over and sleep in the guest room. Slumber Party! We were giddy as if we were 14 again. I haven't stayed up that late in quite some time but it was totally worth it. Yesterday morning consisted of sleeping in, a nice breakfast at Bub's Cafe, then on to the pool. Girl time was a success indeed. I then proceeded to the grocery to pick up some fresh asparagus and chicken to prepare for a lovely summer dinner on the deck with Caleb and our sweet friends, Drake & Hannah.

So, today is back to reality. By first sharing this DELICIOUS recipe with you, then returning to the salon to do what I love most. I make these fudgesicles about once a week now. #1 Because husby looooves them. #2 they contain healthy, natural ingredients. #3 gluten free. and #4 they're quick and easy to make!


4 small bananas
1 cup almond milk
1/2 tbsp. gf vanilla
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup peanut butter
Combine all the ingredients in a blender then divide into popsicle molds. Freeze about 4 hours.
