imprints on my heart [influence takeaway]

Influence Conference was everything I'd hoped it would be. I met some amazing women who share in very similar passions and believe in the beauty/influence of the blog community. I had a fabulous conference partner - my darling cousin, Kinsey - whom I was able to develop a deeper connection with.
After 2 days of life + strategy sessions, I came home feeling a new commitment and responsibility to EOS.  This experience has definitely stretched me and I'm on this funny blogger's high that will hopefully reside permanently in my life.
I can't help but share some highlighted quotes and thoughts recorded from the weekend.  If you're a blogger, I hope to bring some inspiration to you. If not, may this be a little insight into my heart as a blogger.

Don't be afraid of your voice. - Amanda Williams.
[Figure out how to put YOU on paper.]

Say what you need to say, but be willing to surprise yourself. -Amanda Williams
[Focus on your original destination, but be open to new territory. You might just find someplace worth exploring.]

Know where you're aiming the ship. - Hayley Morgan

If your influence is 12 people for a season- that is not any less important than someone's influence who is 12 million. - Casey Wiegand

Don't let your eyes get bigger than your stomach. Put it in perspective. Ask yourself, "Is it big enough for God?". - Barett Ward

Anyone who hangs out with you, anyone who reads your blog, knows what you treasure. -Jami Nato

Don't throw your creative uniqueness away. Your influence is stewardship. Carry it well. - John Saddington

You are more than what you blog about. Show your readers that. -unknown

Abide first. "Abide in me, and I abide in you, and you will bare fruit." - Nick Connolly

A HUGE thank you to the women behind it all. Your beautiful hearts and talents have placed a permanent imprint on my heart. Can't wait for next year!

  2. I'm so glad you were there! It's exciting to read everyone's takeaways and imagine where these newfound truths and visions will take us. Also, I think this might be the first time I've been quoted. So, thanks for that. :) Wonderful to meet you! Keep writing. xo

  3. I love this! Also, Nick's advice to "abide" was so simple, and yet so true. Imagine what we could do if we started by abiding. :) Thank you for sharing!

    1. I know, so simple but I have a tendency of forgetting to do so. A new challenge I'm determined to work on. :) Thanks, lady! XO
