Our Journey with Essential Oils

As you might know about me, I am always looking for cleaner healthier ways to enhance my family's health and wellbeing. A few months ago, I was introduced to Young Living essential oils by my sweet friend, Casey Wiegand. If you haven't heard of YL, I am SO excited to tell you all about these powerful little bottles!

I've known about and used essential oils for quite some time, but there was something different about YL that stuck out to me. Extracted through careful steam distillation and cold pressing, only unadulterated essential oils are used in YL products. Because of their PURE botanicals, they can be used in many ways: diffused, inhaled, applied topically, incorporated into massage, or taken internally. That's right. These oils are so pure, you can ingest them! YL essential oils are as good as it gets, friends. And every day I learn another tip on how to use them.

As we start our journey with Young Living EOs, I thought I would share with you along the way. If you currently use them and would like to share you experience with us, I would love for you to comment below with your favorite YL tips! I'm all about learning together. If you have been thinking about using essential oils and want to know more, please comment below with your name and e-mail and I would be happy to help you get started.

  1. I've been drinking lemon and thieves daily for a while now. I also diffuse thieves and wintergreen too. Plus lavender and breathe easy ease sinus headaches I get often. But wintergreen is my favorite smelling one. I'm a sucker for just opening and sniffing it ;)

  3. Put a couple drops of Lavender oil on a cotton ball and place in your cloth storeroom to fragrance the materials and repulse moths and creepy crawlies. http://thracianoils.com/melissa-oil/
